Hartlepool solicitors makes waves for charity
A REGIONAL Solicitors has helped a Teeside based charity secure new premises offering more opportunities to local children.
Hartlepool based TBI Solicitor were approached through Tees Valley Professional Services Group, and secured the lease with Middlesbrough Council on behalf of Middlesbrough Sea Cadets.
The charity is now planning to move into East Lodge once it has been renovated and made fit for purpose.
Middlesbrough College is supporting the Sea Cadets in the renovation of the premises.
Liz Chambers, Chairman of Middlesbrough Sea Cadets, said. “This new and much more suitable environment will enable us to work with more young people and give them a head start in life.
“ We are grateful to TBI Solicitors for their help in securing the lease with Middlesbrough Council and giving Sea Cadets a great future for many years to come.“
The charity hopes that the work will be completed and it can move in time to celebrate its 70th birthday in 2012.
Martin Levinson of TBI Solicitors commented: “The Sea Cadets’ ideally-located new home in East Lodge, Albert Park, will be a huge boost to the charity and a great benefit to youngsters for many years to come.
“We are proud to have been able to help to ensure that the community can continue to benefit from the work of this extremely worthwhile and highly regarded charity.”
