Marketing firm suffers collapse
MIDDLESBROUGH marketing organisation Pearsons has gone into administration leaving 40 people without a job.
A spokesman for administrators KPMG said a sale of the business isn’t possible and all staff will be made redundant.
Pearsons, established in 1986 by Simon Pearson, has offices at Preston Farm Business Park in Stockton as well as Leeds and Newcastle.
KPMG said the company had been experiencing difficult trading conditions for some time.
This had been made even worse when public sector recruitment took a nose dive in recent months.
