Jobs saved thanks to Retox Digital

DIRECTORS of the Middesbrough marketing firm Pearsons have obtained the former company’s digital assets and set up a new agency.

In a bid to create eight new jobs, the newly formed Retox Digital LTD will provide welcome relief for some of the staff who were made redundant when Pearsons collapsed last week.

The company was forced into administration as a result of public sector job cuts that adversely affected the operation of the firm’s recruitment division.

Lilian Hughes and Dan Millard, Pearsons’ former Managing Director and Strategic Development Director are confident the new organisation has a bright future.

Dan Millard said: “We are thrilled and excited by the prospect of taking Retox Digital forward with this acquisition.”

“We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback and support from clients following the news of our acquisition.”

Retox Digital will now take over existing supplier and client contracts across the North East and nationwide to ensure there will be no service interruptions to existing clients.

Lilian Hughes added: “We have built an enviable reputation in the digital arena based upon great relationships with clients and innovation.”

“We will continue to be customer-focussed and repay the trust that our clients have placed in us.”
