Leading US Software company chooses Newcastle agency

A US SOFTWARE COMPANY has selected a North Eased agency to develop a campaign for an international marketing tradeshow.

8X8 Inc has appointed Newcastle based creative agency Guerilla to develop the campaign - after loosing faith in the quality of the creative work produced in California.

The California based firms Marketing Manager came across the Guerilla website and liked the creative portfolio of the Newcastle based agency so much that she called the agency.

Helen Ross, marketing communications manager of 8X8 Inc said:“It is an experiment using a non-US agency to help us to create our most high profile campaign of the year, but so far Guerilla have over exceeded our expectations in every respect.

“They have provided a refreshing new approach to the creative and the time difference is also great; when I come in the work is ready for me to look at”.

8X8 Inc is ranked as one of the fastest growing technology companies in the United States.

They specialise in voice solutions, messaging and videos across telephony, web and mobile platforms so that business employees can communicate when and wherever they are located.

The creative output has already seen images of users of the 8X8 services touching virtual reality screens to represent how easy they make communicating.

Matt Clark, senior creative at Guerilla, added: “When we got the call it was out of the blue but we looked at it as a massive opportunity to show what we can do internationally. “We liked the challenge of creating a campaign theme that positions 8X8 Inc. as the market leader in their field”.
