Stockton firms aims for further expansion
HAVING already enjoyed rapid growth overt the past 18 months a North East web solutions company is targeting ongoing expansion which will create up to 4 new jobs.
Stockton-based LocalRus is awaiting a major accreditation, which will see it adopt the Agile Software industry standard that will boost its customer service offering.
The firm, which helps companies cut overheads and become more efficient, has enjoyed rapid growth since taking on its first full-time member of staff in June 2009.
Company Director, Stuart Davies said: “I remember an advisor telling me the best time to expand is during a recession so I decided to do just that. It’s not been easy but I’ve enjoyed the challenge and shall continue to do so.”
The firm which workforce now compromises nine developers, designers and sales staff has witnessed a growing demand for its services that include graphic and web design, online marketing and application development.
The company has outlined its policy off employing the region’s top young talent as a key contributor in its success.
Saheed Rashid a Director at LocalRus, said: “We believe it’s very important to take on young people in the area.
“The new members of staff have added an extra dimension to the business and have each played a part in our recent success.”
