Snowball wins Carlsberg contract
NEWCASTLE based Tangent subsidiary Snowball has won a contract to provide print and other marketing communications to drinks giant Carlsberg Group.
Under the terms of the contract, Snowball will create a bespoke ordering system, allowing Carlsberg customers, such as pubs and off-licences, to produce personalised marketing collateral.
As well as being able to order posters, leaflets and email marketing campaigns, the system will also enable Carlsberg customers to order drink stock.
Printing will be carried out at Tangent’s Newcastle print centre. Initially the system will role out to UK users, but Snowball expects it to go global in the next 12 months.
David Scott, customer marketing director at Carlsberg UK, said: “This really is a complete solution for us – allowing our customers to do everything from ordering their stock to creating promotional and marketing material.
“We will have an incredibly powerful system for our customers, which is fully integrated with our current processes and needs.”
Gary Howard, director of Snowball, added: “We have a great understanding of this specialised sector through our work with on- and off-trade businesses; and a great track record in creating bespoke virtual environments.”
