ADP targets education and health jobs
A RAPIDLY expanding architectural company has become the latest firm to expand abroad by opening its first overseas office in India.
ADP, which has six offices in the UK stretching from London to Manchester, has acquired local New Delhi-based company Synthesis Design Studio, and set up new offices in the Gurgaeon area of the Indian capital.
The news comes as ADP announced it had opened its sixth office in the UK by merging with GWK Architects, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, and rebranding it as ADP.
The office, now called ADP Synthesis, will be run by Synthesis directors Ranjan Ray and Ashish Chopra and currently has half a dozen staff based out there.
It is expected that this will eventually increase to around 20.
A spokeswoman said the new business would target university and healthcare work in and around New Delhi.
GWK employs 12 people and the two mergers bring ADP’s total staff to more than 100 for the first time.
Turnover at the expanded ADP is up £800,000 to £7.6 million as a result.
