Fledgling training firm buoyed by rapid growth
An online firm which helps people find places on some of the region’s most sought-after training courses has enjoyed rapid expansion in its first six months in business.
Helptrainingcourses.com was launched last July by County Durham entrepreneurs Craig Fantarrow and John Patrick and has since won the backing of over 200 training providers and provided access to thousands of courses.
The Company has now enhanced the website further to allow users to register for automatic notifications and updates on courses that interest them, and has also taken on three new members of staff to facilitate its expansion.
The firm’s highly optimised website has transformed the way a number of training providers offer access to their courses and is the most popular site, in terms of hits, for late deals outside of the travel industry.
As well as helping general members of the public sign up to courses, the business is also aiming to encourage training and HR managers of large national firms to books courses through its site.
Mr Fantarrow, who also runs a successful training company called Help! First Aid Training, said: “Since setting the site up in July we have seen signs of the market changing rapidly and we believe we are single-handedly altering the way people buy training.
“The site has a very user-friendly home page to help people find courses easily and we constantly listen to what the customers are saying and adapt the site to suit.”
Meanwhile, as the company gears up for another six months of growth, it has appointed two new sales executives Ann Boyd and Jane Petty along with Jonathan Dutchburn, who is charged with helping to drive new business into the firm.
