Vinovium secures SIA stamp of approval
A SECURITY firm is celebrating having emerged through difficult economic times by achieving the highest accolade in the sector.
Vinovium Associates, based in County Durham, has achieved Approved Contractor Status (ACS) in Security Guarding – which comes after the company passed 84 rigorous tests set by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
Among the many aspects of the firm that were examined by the SIA were; the way it deals with its employees, its policies on health and safety and its environmental and disaster recovery capabilities.
Bishop Auckland-based Vinovium Associates Ltd, is run by Jim Loughran, Margaret Cooke and Michael Hole.
Speaking in the aftermath of the firm’s accolade from the SIA, he said: “This accreditation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both the management team and our employees.
“The SIA’s ACS stamp of approval confirms that we are working to the highest standards within the Security Industry.”
