Poll results: Designs on other people’s ideas
Ahead of a major design conference on Tyneside, we asked readers whether you had ever experienced problems with designers or developers over website ownership rights, with 72.7% answering yes.
Meanwhile, 18.2% of readers said their material had been used without permission while 9.1% of people said they had at some point been accused of imitating a computer’s website.
Design Means Business has attracted keynote speakers Sir Richard Needham from Dyson and representatives from Herman Miller, King of Shaves, Hasbro and Nissan.
Over 250 people from industry and the design community are expected to attend the conference on March 15 and 16 at The Sage Gateshead, organised by Design Network North and business services firm RTC North.
