Budding entrepreneurs put the boot in
Would-be Bransons, Sugars and Bannatynes have been offered the chance to join a business boot camp that could get them in shape as they look to become successful entrepreneurs.
Founded by Enterprise Made Simple, the boot camps are an intensive weekend of activities, talks and workshops to give people with a potentially high growth company expert advice and support.
Organisers have now moved the date of the first boot camp – which is being held at East Barnby Outdoor Education Centre near Whitby - to March 25-27, giving those interested in taking part a chance to join.
The Stockton/Billingham area camp will run in April at the Calvert Trust outdoor centre in Northumberland.
Phil Teasdale of EMS said the camps would offer a rare opportunity for business people to get a whole host of valuable advice and information over one weekend.
“People know all about boot camps but they usually associate them with physical activity,” he said.
“This is much more about exercising the brain and giving them the opportunity to get advice and information, face challenges and take part in team building exercises.”
