North West group swoops for scaffolding firm
A North East scaffolding firm which has been involved in a number of high profile projects including The Sage and Edinburgh’s Haymarket train station has a new majority owner.
A 76% stake in Project Scaffolding – which is headquartered on Teesside, with additional offices in Newcastle and Scotland – has been bought by Bolton-based TI Industrial Group.
Advisers who worked on the deal included a team at Manchester law firm George Davies comprising partners Chris Wilkinson and Sara Barrett along with Charlie Yates and Sam Mason.
Project offers a range of services such as design, scaffolding and project management, and has worked with the likes of Balfour Beatty, British Gas, John Mowlem & Co, Amoco Oil Exploration, Skanska and Lundbeck Pharmaceuticals.
