Poll result: Banking support for SMEs remains in short supply
Much has been said by those in and out of power at Westminster in recent months about banks making a return to lending for small businesses.
We asked readers about their recent experiences in getting business loans or improved financial set-ups from their bank, with 50% saying they had been rejected outright.
Just 18% said they had received the support they requested and 32% gaining some support, but only after making compromises.
