Region misses the boat on climate change week
Backed by a team of corporate heavyweights, including Tesco and RBS, last week was Climate Change Week, but it seems very few firms in the North East knew much about it.
Organisers claimed that there would be thousands of events happening up and down the country, but for many it seems to have gone under the radar.
We asked readers whether the company they worked for had done anything differently to mark the occasion.
Only 5.9% said ‘yes’, with almost 95% of people claiming their employers had no involvement in the event.
