Record growth for Hartlepool firm
A manufacturing firm with over 1300 employees has enjoyed a record 72% hike in operating profits and a 27% climb in revenues to £44.8m.
Hartlepool-based Stadium Group PLC entered 2011, its Centenary year ,with a record level of operating profit at £3.34m and surging revenues at home and abroad.
Nigel Rogers, chief executive, said: “The financial results for the year demonstrate substantial growth compared with the prior year, with revenues up by 27% and core operating profits up by over 70%.
“This demonstrates a business model which is resilient. Such resilience is delivered from the breadth and spread of revenues across wide geographical areas and industry sectors.”
The company provides global electronic manufacturing services and power supply solutions and boasts operations in the UK and China include Stadium Electronics, Stadium Power and Stadium Asia.
