Teesside tech firm eyes expansion
A technology firm based in Redcar is growing its staff by 25% following a string of lucrative contracts.
Since taking shared office space at the 75-acre science park in 2010, Argent & Waugh has won some significant deals and has increased the company headcount to meet new demand.
The company has also moved to larger premises at The Wilton Centre on Teesside.
Director Tim Sharpe is optimistic about the outlook for A&W and said: “Our continuing expansion is a real achievement in the context of continuing growth and profitability.
“The company is a viable, profitable organisation with a product that will ensure significant expansion in the future.”
A&W builds collaboration software for the process industry and currently employs 8 members of staff.
