Largest commercial property show to come to the region next month
Sunderland’s Stadium of Light will play host to the region’s largest commercial property show next month.
Hundreds are expected to attend the Tyne and Wear Commercial Property Show which aims to highlight the rich array of commercial premises the region has to offer.
Attendees at the event will include many of the region’s property agents, business intermediaries and business support organisations who will emphasise the property opportunities and support that is available to business investors.
Sarah Gibson, marketing officer at Tyne and Wear Development Company, said: “The Tyne and Wear Commercial Property Show has really helped to fly the flag for the area’s commercial property sector in recent years.
“It’s become an important driver of deals, a useful place to build contacts and highlighted the good opportunities for investment that exist here.”
The latest Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) survey revealed that the region is bucking the trend in terms of commercial property; being one of the few areas nationally to still have a reasonable demand.
She added: “Many professionals are cautiously optimistic about future demand and we expect this positivity to be reflected in this year’s show and the amount of business this generates.” The event will take place on Tuesday May 17.
