Teesside recruitment firm expands into Asian market
A Teesside recruitment firm is expanding into the Asian market and has already located several workers on projects in Singapore and Malaysia.
Techconsult UK Ltd, based at The Wilton Centre, operates within the offshore, fabrication and maintenance, process, shipbuilding, and civil engineering industries.
The company has already placed several key staff within projects being carried out from Singapore by Darlington-based CTC Marine Ltd, as well as number of personnel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with more set to come from other clients.
Steve Guest, TechConsult UK managing director, said: “There is increasing confidence in a lot of the sectors in which we work and a growing feeling that the Asian marketplace is one of those areas that present a lot of opportunities.
“We have already placed a number of key people with companies operating there and expect to place more in the months to come.”
TechConsult UK opened its UK operation in 2006 and is part of Norwegian-owned company Techconsult Group.
