TalkTalk Group acquires Executel
The TalkTalk Telecom Group has confirmed the acquisition of a £9m-a-year North East firm which employs 44 people.
The Group confirmed yesterday it will purchase Gateshead based Executel for an undisclosed sum.
The company would now be managed by TalkTalk Business and is expected to contribute around £6.5m of incremental revenue in the current financial year.
Paul Lawton, CEO of TalkTalk Business, said: “Executel is a long term and valued partner of TalkTalk Business.
“Strategically they fit extremely well with our existing operations and give us a much stronger position in the North East of England.”
Executel provides telephone systems, data solutions and unified communications to the public and private sectors.
