Care group will create 200 jobs
A care home group has sold one of its subsidiaries businesses, which is expected to create 200 jobs for the region.
Danieli Holdings, based in Killingworth, has sold Careline Homecare to national care provider City & County Healthcare Group for an undisclosed sum.
The firm acquired premises in Whitley Bay, which they hope will be fully developed by August this year.
Northridge has earmarked another site in Gateshead for its second development and also plans to open a further one in Northumberland.
Neill Winch, Director of the Danieli group, said: “We are delighted to be able to expand our operations into the respite care market and to help create jobs for the North East.”
The Danieli group was set up three years ago and has a turnover of around £15m.
