New start up aims to create upto 25 jobs in 12 months
An engineering design and project management company has been launched in the region with ambitious plans to generate 25 jobs in its first year.
Nortech Solutions has been set up by Bryan Bunn, an engineer with experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, energy and iron and steel sectors.
Mr Bunn, Nortech Solutions’ managing director, has announced the first tranche of key appointments at the company’s headquarters at Wynyard Business Park in the Tees Valley.
He said: “The North East has been chosen as the location for Nortech Solutions’ head office because the energy, steel and process industries form the region’s industrial backbone, allied with the availability of highly skilled and experienced engineers.”
A significant early success for Nortech Solutions is being appointed as the authorised UK agent for Paul Wurth, which is highly recognized in design and supply of the full range of technological solutions for the iron and steel, non-ferrous and ferrous alloy industries.
Mr Bunn said: ’There are considerable opportunities to be seized upon in the engineering design and project management arenas.
“Nortech Solutions has the necessary level of expertise to secure contracts within the energy, oil & gas, and iron and steel sectors and is well-placed to compete on a global-scale.”
