Region’s firms take AIM
Lack of liquidity, the ability to raise funds and the additional resources required are the main concerns of AIM quoted businesses in the North East – according to research released today by XCAP Securities plc.
XCAP Securities plc contacted all the North East’s AIM quoted companies to gather their views on the market.
The findings were that a lack of liquidity is the main concern about being on the market followed by the ability to raise funds and the additional resources required.
Meanwhile, 81.8% of AIM companies in the North East cited their experience as a public company as a positive one and all of them are considering growth organically and through acquisition
Adrian Kirk, Corporate Finance Director from XCAP Securities plc said:“While it is encouraging that the vast majority of North East companies cited their experience as a public company as a positive one, it comes as no surprise that lack of liquidity is the main area of concern.”
