Sage forms partnership with local charity

SkillsBridge have successfully brokered a relationship between a local social enterprise scheme, and one of the regions biggest companies in an attempt to get young people in the region into the workplace.

Keyfund, is now working with Sage (UK) Limited on a new database to help the social enterprise organisation improve customer relations management. This project has already helped Keyfund to improve the aspirations and skills of disengaged young people in the community.

Hannah Eyres, chief executive of Keyfund said: “It was great to be able to work with Sage, who were quickly able to validate and map out our requirements, can confirmed that our priority requirements were actually around our website rather than the CRRM system it supported.

“This is a huge achievement that makes a big difference to Keyfund and none of it would have been possible without the input of the people at Sage, secured through SkillsBridge. We’re really grateful for the support that we have received, which has saved us time and money and improved our team’s skills set in a key area of the organisation.”

This project is another example of the positive work SkillsBridge hopes to encourage within the North East. The company, which launched last month, has planned an ambitious five year programme to support the North east’s voluntary and community sector.

The team are now matching other voluntary and community organisations, which have registered for support with professional volunteers who have offered their time. It is hoped that these partnerships will bring a new wave of support to community groups across the region.
