Double success at Tait Walker

A local chartered accountancy firm is celebrating the qualification of two of two of its employers, who will now form part of the largest insolvency team in the region.

Matthew Higgins and Kerry Pearson simultaneously passed their Joint Insolvency Examinations, and have now increased the team to six qualified practitioners. This will now allow Tait Walker to provide a comprehensive service to both individuals and organisations.

David Arthur expressed his delight at the new appointments, commenting: “At Tait Walker we are extremely proud of our ability to train members of staff to a high standard and are committed in continuing to do so.

“It is the combination of effort by employers and investment in training that has supported our recent achievement of being the first accountancy practice in mainland England to gain IIP GOLD accreditation.

Speaking about their qualifications, Matthew Higgins said: “We are both extremely pleased to have completed our insolvency examination with the support of Tait Walker, and are thrilled to have done so at the same time. The practice has been committed to our training by funding courses and allowing us study leave to fully concentrate on our examinations.

“Kerry and I look forward to furthering our careers with Tait Walker and hope to make valuable contributions to the success of the insolvency team and the practice as a whole.”
