Entrepreneurialism workshop hosted by Secret Millionaire
One of Britain’s most entrepreneurial women is coming to the region next month to share her tips for business success.
Kavita Oberoi, who recently appeared on the television show, The Secret Millionaire, will appear at a workshop organised by North East Access to Finance and Newcastle Science City, and will teach entrepreneurs how to secure investment in their ideas.
The first event, which Kavita will speak at, is the first in a series of six sessions and will allow businesses to work with professional advisors on all aspects of their business plan. In the final session of the series, delegates will be given the opportunity to pitch their plans to a genuine investor.
Kavita has been nominated for a number of awards, including the Lloyds Bank Jewel Award and has worked as a mentor for the HBOS Social Entrepreneurs Awards, as well as for numerous health organizations.
Topics to be focussed on at the other sessions will include assessment of market potential, building effective teams, management controls and legal compliance. All workshops will be held at Newcastle Central Library
