New surveying firm for Darlington
A local engineer has set up a surveying company in Darlington specialising in construction-based engineering services.
Adrian Green decided to set up GreenGeo after he was made redundant from his job in the construction industry earlier in the year. His new venture will offer the latest 3D-modelling services to ensure construction work is carried out correctly on time and within budget.
Adrian said: “This has been a really challenging but exciting venture for me. I have come from a long line of engineers on both my parents’ sides and have always shared their interest in, and enthusiasm for engineering.
“I have built my business around the idea of productivity and efficiency. In these difficult economic times, GreenGeo provides a high-quality and cost-effective service for all our clients and I believe that keeping up-to-date with technical advances in the surveying industry is paramount to achieving this.”
GreenGeo will specialise with steel fabrication and construction needed for the oil and gas industry, but will also target renewable energy construction projects.
Adrian is now looking to build up his business to chartered status over the next few years, as well as recruiting several more members of staff.
