North Tyneside Business Forum puts action into networking

‘Networking in Action’ is the key theme of a business event aimed at the business community of North Tyneside to be held on 13 September at Irvins Brasserie.

Hosted by the North Tyneside Business Forum, the event will explore how networking can improve and increase the potential of any size of business.

‘Networking in Action’ runs from 6pm – 9pm and is free to attend for any North Tyneside-based businesses.

The key speaker Caroline Theobald is one of the region’s most high profile networking advocates and she will be discussing her ongoing work with the Bridge Club, her past work with the Entrepreneurs Forum and how members can gain more from the opportunities the Forum presents to its members.

After only one year in existence the North Tyneside Business Forum has evolved into a major force in the borough for support and mentoring for local business of all sizes.

As part of its ongoing mission they have developed an innovative website which incorporates services such as inter-trading, discussion platforms and mentoring, all of which are free to access for Forum Members.

The new website will become the hub of the forums activities; it will act as an arena for all businesses to have a voice in the borough, offering advice sharing, information and opinions driven by business for businesses.

Berry Burgess is a Member of the Business Forum and his company Armadillo Creative has been instrumental in setting up the new website. Berry said, “Business success depends on having vibrant networks and becoming known across the business community. This is the first opportunity ever for companies based in North Tyneside to get their heads together to create a living, dynamic and supportive business community. While much of this can be carried out online through the Forum’s new website, it’s always nice to get together to meet on a more social basis, so I’m looking forward to the Networking Event to make even more useful contacts”
