Coco Moon expands singles service into Tees Valley

A Newcastle-based bespoke dating agency for busy single professionals is expanding into the Tees Valley.

Sharon Kell, founder of Coco Moon made the decision to expand her services after the company received a six figure cash injection from Rivers Capital. She now plans to use this money to introduce new technology, and create a further eight jobs to help the business serve a wider audience.

Sharon now hopes that this expansion into the Tees Valley will fill what she sees as a gap in the market for her bespoke connection processes.

She commented: “We have established a strong client base regarding the market in the North of the North East region.

“Now our reputation has travelled further afield and in recent months potential clients from the Tees Valley are have been contacting the company about becoming a member, and as a result, we felt it was the time to expand into the Tees Valley.”

Sharon Kell set the business up in 2008, and prides herself on the personalised service Coco Moon provides to busy professionals looking for an alternative to internet dating.

Staff hold consultations with potential customers prior to offering and accepting membership, and matches individuals personally rather than using computer driven checklists.

She added: “From our experience, most businesspeople put in long hours to master the art of commercial success. However, they often have little time to nurture relationships outside work and become frustrated than no one matches up to what they are looking for when they do have time to socialise.

“Coco Moon offers an effective and efficient service to take the hassle and aggravation out of improving the social lives of time-poor professionals.”
