IT firm in £70,000 Alnwick Gardens contract win

A Gateshead based IT provider is celebrating the completion of the first stage of a prestigious contract for one of the regions most famous visitor attractions.

Aspire Technology Solutions have provided the Alnwick Gardens with IT services including a full refresh of the estates technology, and the application of a disaster recovery plan.

The £70,000 contract also required Aspire to design and implement a robust data backup solution for the organisation to allow data to be quickly and easily received.

Rod Kelly, IT manager for the Alnwick Garden commented: “The Aspire team have been extremely professional and have put in a lot of hours on this project, many outside normal operating times.

“Replacing the systems has been very challenging but Aspire have been up to the task and I look forward to working with the team on future projects.”

The management team at the Alnwick Gardens were searching for an experienced technology provider, and chose Aspire due to their excellent track record and knowledge of important migrating key servers to a virtualised environment.

“Aspire has a wealth of expertise in these areas and as such, we have successfully delivered phase one of the project. Phase two will focus on Alnwick Castle which is run as a separate entity to the Garden but shares the same management team and we look forward to delivering the same high level of service during that phase.”
