No Get Out Claus
By Noel Blitzen
History was made today when the main man himself was arrested and charged under the ancient, little used, Peter’s Law.
The disgraced Saint Nic’ found himself ‘in the nick’ following a catalogue of non compliances uncovered by the Gifts and Presents Regulatory Authority (GAPRA) during a scheduled summer inspection.
An inspector from GAPRA was visibly shocked as he spoke of the inadequate grading given to Lapland Inc describing it as the only course of action after discovering non compliances that ranked as some of the worst he’d ever witnessed.
He continued, saying “left unchallenged, these failings would certainly manifest themselves as catastrophic quality and delivery failures for the customer”.
He felt the subsequent arrest of Mr Claus was vital to maintain public confidence that an organisation enjoying total yuletide monopoly was still held accountable for its actions.
No one from Lapland Inc. was available for interview but a company spokesperson stated “while we understand the potential serious nature of the inspection findings we are not prepared to comment on individual non-compliances before completing a full internal investigation”.
