The Business
Fun at Splatz is undoubtedly one of the North Easts premier childrens activity centres and was established by our clients in 2009 to fill a gap in the market. This is now the only business of its type and size between Newcastle and Carlisle. The main, over 5s play frame is a bespoke design which offers parents greater visibility into the centre of the frame.
It is built away from the walls and is therefore simple to navigate and also easy to clean and maintain. There is a climbing wall, aerial gliders, a wavy slide and much more. There is a separate, secure toddler area with a large car track, slide and ball juggler.
For those just starting to walk there is the Road of Discovery. which has been uniquely designed to cater for babies from the earliest crawling stage. This feature promotes challenging physical activity and mental stimulation through the discovery of textures, colours, objects and surfaces in a set circular route, around an adult supervision area.
Babies have their very own safe soft play area with stimulating and interactive toys. Fun at Splatz offers a range of party packages for all ages and especially for older children they have invested in state of the art wireless scoring laser tag guns.
The caf is the centrepiece of the premises and has ample and varied seating areas. The caf serves a good selection of hot and cold food and drinks with an emphasis on healthy eating. The business has won 5 stars from the Scores on the Doors scheme which rates businesses on their hygiene and cleanliness. 5 stars is the highest award given. There is huge scope to invest in the business and introduce further iincome streams. Because of the size of the premises there is ample space in which to evolve.
