Free sales training for the unemployed
Sales vacancies are one of the top ten jobs that employers are having difficulty filling. Arrow Sales have announced that it will offer free sales training courses in Newcastle. The goal is to give the unemployed the confidence and the skills they need to apply for a job in sales and at the same time give confidence to the employers that they are getting suitably trained sales people.
Arrow have launched this initiative as they have found that more and more companies are having difficulty finding skilled sales people to fill their vacancies and help grow their business. Michael McMeekin of Arrow Sales said “Over the last 12 months I have had several companies ask us to recommend some good sales people to help them build their business. The problem is that the good sales people are already working but those that are not working may not have the confidence or skills to do the job. This initiative will also help the employers as they will have skilled people applying for jobs so they can make an instant impact in their new job”
The one day sales courses will be held on 26th January, 16th February and 15th March at John Buddle Work Village in the west end of Newcastle. Alex Johnson of RHWE at John Buddle Work Village has supported the initiative and has said “Our vision is to encourage the regeneration of the West End of the City of Newcastle, with the creation of enterprise, employment and training opportunities for the whole community. This free sales training from Arrow Sales fits our vision and will certainly help some of the unemployed get skilled and help them find new jobs”
The one day course will cover the basics of the sales process with examples of what skills are required to become a successful salesperson. The attendee for the day will be guided through the sales process, understand the basic principles of selling and by the end of the session they will have tried and learnt skills that they can use in every day sales situations in every sales environments including retail, call centres, internal sales and business to business.
The course will not only give the attendee renewed confidence and new skills but any new employers will have the knowledge that if anyone who applies for a sales job will have had a through grounding and understanding of what it will take to be a success. Arrow hope to be able to have a pool of trained sales people that employers can take a serious look at employing.
Arrow is asking for those that are unemployed and wanting to train for a new career in sales to sign up for one of the events. The places are limited so booking is essential. You can book via email at sales@arrowsales.co.uk or phone 0191 2267366 and leave a contact number, your name and the date of the course you want to attend.
