Make your own Christmas tree bauble
Having a handmade and personal Christmas decoration is something that every family can cherish.
We all have those special decorations that have been passed down through the family that we take extra special care of. If you are an experienced crafter or just fancy trying your hand and making decorations then this Daisy Make is for you.
This step by step guide will show you how you can make your very own Christmas tree bauble.
You will need:
- A polystyrene ball
- 3 metres of sequins
- Pins
- Ribbon or thread
Directions:
1. Take your ribbon or thread and loop it then tie a knot in the end. Get your strip of sequins and thread the first sequin.
2. Take a pin and place it through the first sequin that has the threaded loop into the polystyrene ball.
3. Start to wrap the strip around the ball and pin either every sequin or every few. Try to overlap the strip so you don’t see any white below.
4. The strip will spiral around until you have covered one side. Cut the strip and start on the other side.
Voila! Your decoration is now finished and ready to hang on the tree.
