Phoenix Taxis launch their Teen Safe campaign

Phoenix Taxis a well established, licensed taxi firm based in Northumberland, are launching a fantastic new scheme called ’Teen Safe’.

With over 20 years experience, Phoenix taxis are aware that young adults can face problems when they start going to parties, bars and clubs for the first time.

Teen Safe has been launched to ensure that young people on nights out with friends are always transported home safely. By quoting Teen Safe when they call, the young person will immediately be put to the top of Phoenix’s list regardless of how busy they are.

And all Phoenix customers will know when their taxi has been dispatched and what make, model and registration number to expect as they offer a text back service.

Phoenix cars are also equipped to take card payment so no need to guess your fare and try to keep a hold of it all night. Reassuringly for young people, and their parents too, Phoenix can also be booked and paid for in advance by debit or credit card.

Stranded and not sure of the location? If the worst comes to the worst Phoenix will do their very best to find a stranded teen on a night out – even if they are unsure of where they are themselves.

The teen just has to ring and quote Teen Safe and try give as much information about their location as possible. The staff at Phoenix have a realistic and caring view to stranded customers and if a teen ends up in the nightmare situation of being stranded without enough cash or card, Phoenix will still collect them and payment can be made later.

Our extensive experience of transporting people across Northumberland and the North East has allowed us to identify those that on occasion’s people require our help. One group that is often missed or ignored by those looking to help with transport are young adults who can find themselves in unfamiliar locations or situations.

By letting young people and their parents know that there is help available if their teen is left stranded or without money, we WILL come and collect their teen-regardless. In December 2012, Phoenix Taxis will be visiting schools and colleges throughout Northumberland to launch the campaign and giving students 10% discount cards.
