Take a new direction: Part-time study at Northumbria

If your New Year’s resolution is to get your career moving in the right or a new direction then a part-time degree with Northumbria University can help you make that change. We’ve over 150 courses to choose from. If you’ve been out of education for a while you can book a free guidance appointment with our Return to Learning Service. You can find out about access courses or the new Government tuition fee loans for part-time undergraduate students starting this September.

Northumbria University has a wide range of part-time provision which includes taught courses and research programmes. When you have work or other commitments, a flexible learning approach to study is important.

Courses
Over 150 part-time courses are easily accessible from our online course directory. View the modules, check the fees and even apply directly from your selected course entry.

Research Programmes
The University offers both Doctor of Philosophy degrees (PhDs) and Professional Doctorate awards on a part-time basis. Information for prospective postgraduate research students is provided by our Graduate School.
