Yell urge plumbers to get online
Yell has revealed a new infographic aimed at plumbers, to help grow their business through the internet.
Following Google statistics research that shows 823,000 searches for the keyword ‘plumbers’ nationwide are made every month, Yell’s web design arm are communicating this to plumbers.
‘Stop the leak’ highlights that UK plumbers could be missing out on a significant portion of business, if they fail to embrace the internet, and do not have a website.
The infographic draws attention to location-specific plumber searches; for example 40,500 of these queries are for ‘London plumbers’ each month.
According to GroupM, the global marketing company, 58% of all purchase decisions now begin with a search engine.
As the internet is such a prominent research tool for consumers, it is suggested that plumbers without online presence could find themselves left behind.
Ways in which to use the internet for marketing themselves are outlined in the infographic, including email, web content and advertising.
