Rock Farm Dairy Limited in administration
Durham based Rock Farm Dairy Limited have gone into administration after having difficulties with trading performance.
With an increasing cost base and difficulty in passing their increased prices on to customers, the company has suspended trading immediately after going into administration.
Joint administrators Stephen Oldfield and Ian Green of PwC are now working to secure a third party interested in a tolling agreement.
Around 74 full time employees have all been told that their jobs depend on the discussions with potential third parties over today and the weekend.
Oldfield said on behalf of the administration: “Trading has suffered in the recent months and the administration is clearly disappointing news for all of the stakeholders, and the employees in particular.
“However we are looking to secure a rapid tolling agreement for Rock Farm Dairy. We are very keen to speak to anyone who might have an interest in such an arrangement.”
