Summersault outshines competition at leading industry awards
Summersault, the internal communication experts, has extended their winning streak by scooping a string of accolades at a top industry awards ceremony – more than any other company at the event.
The team celebrated their successes at the Institute of Internal Communication’s Central region’s annual Awards Dinner, which celebrated the best of internal communication work produced by Midlands’ organisations.
A quarter of the award wins were in the top categories, with Summersault being crowned Class Winner in the Photograph / Illustration and Newspaper categories for its work with National Grid.
Ben Orme, who writes for National Grid’s internal magazine Gridline scooped Freelancer of the Year and Summersault employee Phil Parrish was crowned Editor of the Year.
Summersault, who produce internal consumer and digital content for firms ranging from Thomson Airways to National Grid, won 16 accolades in total – the highest number won by any one company that evening.
Gail Franks, Managing Director of Summersault Communications, commented:
“It’s super news. To be honoured at such a prestigious awards is testament to the hard work of everyone involved in producing first-class communications for major organisations and businesses across the UK.”
The IoIC is the UK’s leading professional body for in-house, freelance and agency staff involved in internal communications. The national IoIC awards dinner takes place on 15 June.
