Raise a Glass to the North East!
St Geordie’s Day - 20th April 2012, The Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park
Benchmark Communications are hosting a spectacular event to celebrate all that we love about North East England. Taking place on the Friday before St George’s Day each year, St Geordie’s Day is a celebration with pomp, ceremony, roast beef, red roses and copious amounts of flag waving; and is set to become an unmissable event in the business social calendar in the North East. Join us for the inaugural St Geordie’s Day luncheon on Friday 20th April 2012 at The Marriott Hotel, Gosforth Park.
We know you’ve heard of St George’s Day, St Patrick’s Day etc., but St Geordie’s Day is going to hit a totally new level of patriotism, Geordie style (and we’re not talking Geordie Shore here). The day will include stacks of entertainment, copious amounts of specially brewed St Geordie’s Day Ale and truly excellent food. We want you to have a bloody good time.
Not only is the event an excuse for a good old knees up, we’re also raising invaluable funds for three geet canny charities based in North East England: The Sick Children’s Trust, The Light Dragoon’s Colonel’s Appeal and Run Geordie Run. We hope you’ve heard about them all before, but if not, take a look at their profiles on our website: www.stgeordiesday.co.uk.
How can I book, you may ask…
You can book online at www.stgeordiesday.co.uk now. The booking form is password protected, and if you’re not lucky enough to have got your hands on the all important log in details, just drop us a call on 0191 241 4523, and if you’re up to the challenge, we’ll give you a password right away!
If the website isn’t up your street, give us a call. The St Geordie’s Day team all love a good natter so call us on 0191 241 4523 and we’ll get your seats booked over the phone.
Or, if you’re like us and still like to receive a good old-fashioned letter, write to us at: St Geordie’s Day, Benchmark Communications, 14 Blandford Square, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4HZ, and tell us just how excited you are to be coming along to the celebration of the year.
We hope to hear from you soon and see you at the first of many St Geordie’s Day celebrations.
