Looking4Parking announces new port parking products for 2012
Travel parking specialist Looking4Parking.com has announced the launch of a new range of port parking products for the summer 2012 cruise season.
This year’s product focus will be on the ports of Dover and Southampton, two of the UK’s busiest cruise departure points.
The port parking products available at Dover will include the Park & Ride services provided by Dover Port MSCP Ferry Parking, Dover Port Cruise Parking and Dover Relyon Ferry Port Parking.
Products at Southampton meanwhile, include the Park & Ride provided by Southampton Cruise Parking Ltd and Southampton’s only Meet & Greet parking provider Southampton Cruise Parking.
Prices for parking at Dover Port start from £31.50 for a week’s parking, while Southampton parking products start from £59.50.
When asked about Looking4Parking.com’s new range of port parking products, Product Manager Philip Green offered the following, “We’re really pleased to be able to offer our customers an extended range of port parking deals for summer 2012.”
“As well as the cheaper Park & Ride options which allow people to park their cars themselves then take a quick shuttle bus to their cruise departure terminal, we’ve also got a new Meet & Greet product at Southampton Port which eliminates the need for any kind of transfer.”
“The new Southampton Meet & Greet is already proving popular because it makes the whole parking process quicker and easier. Customers can effectively drive straight to the docking station in their own cars where they’re met by a chauffeur. There’s no need to take a transfer bus or walk with heavy luggage.”
Recent research conducted by Looking4Parking.com suggests that choosing a Meet & Greet parking service over a traditional travel parking product regularly saves passengers between an hour and two hours.
