Durham firm nets contract with national energy provider

County Durham-based 0800 Repair Gas Services have won a national contract with ScottishPower.

The Chester-Le-Street firm have signed up to manage heating sales and installations across the UK on their behalf.

30 new engineers will build the successful gas services division of 0800 Repair, as the company strive towards their target for a £25m turnover in five years.

“Our gas repair and installation division is growing rapidly and we are hoping to build on our ScottishPower contract win and secure further contracts to drive business growth particularly in the renewable sector.

“All this will work will be managed from our Headquarters in Chester Le St and it will help us achieve our goal of a £25m turnover by 2017 and builds on our reputation as one of the largest professional appliance repair companies in the UK.”

0800 Repair Gas division is part of Pacifica Group, and employ more than 160 staff with a national network of sub-contractors and employed engineers as well as franchises across the UK.

As well as the County Durham site, the company has a distribution and repair centre in Elland, West Yorkshire, an IT centre in Surbiton, Surrey, and call centres in Chester-Le-Street and Rotherham.
