Version One announces new managing director
Former Sage mid-market MD is new Version One head. Today, document management and imaging company, Version One, today announces that Greg Ford has been appointed as the company’s new managing director. Greg, who succeeds, Julian Buck, will be looking to deliver significant year-on-year growth.
Greg has 27 years’ experience in UK software and services. For ten years, he worked at Sage, most recently as MD of the mid-market division. Greg Ford, Version One’s managing director, says, “There remains considerable market opportunity for Version One’s document management and imaging solutions, both inside and outside the finance function. I’m excited to be part of Version One’s future and am confident that we have the right partners, solutions and people in place to deliver year-on-year growth.”
To enable this growth, re-energising Version One’s partner network will be a key priority over the next 12 months. This will include working closer with existing partners (software authors and re-sellers), from pre-sales and marketing through to support and training, maximising revenue opportunities.
Ford adds, “Our partners are vital to our success and so we need to ensure they have all the tools to effectively re-sell our solutions. Equipping them with these tools will be a major focus for us over the next 12 months.”
Version One’s document management and imaging solutions deliver significant cost and efficiency savings by replacing time-intensive and expensive paper-based processes with automated solutions. Version One’s technology also aids compliance and can form part of an organisation’s disaster recovery plan and green agenda. Version One’s software tightly integrates with all major accounting and ERP systems and typically delivers a return on investment within just six months.
