Bdaily visits the North East Expo

Bdaily was at the North East Expo, at Gosforth Racecourse yesterday to meet exhibitors and speakers at this showcase of the region’s thriving business community.

Organisers Mark Gordon, of Network North, and Andrew Charlton of BACK Consulting, were on hand to talk through the ethos behind the event; listen to what they had to say here.

Star of BBC’s the Apprentice, and property professional, Jamie Lester spoke in front of Expo attendees, on his approach to business and his journey starting work as a 15-year-old, to becoming an established businessman. We chatted to Jamie ahead of his talk; listen to what he had to say here.

Elsewhere, another TV star in the shape of “Corporal” Richard Nauyokas, from ITV’s Bad Lad’s Army, was on hand to talk to businesses about his ‘military style’ leadership techniques and raising support for Veterans’ Retreat charity. Listen to what Richard had to say here.
