Skelmersdale boasts fastest selling site
A leading UK housebuilder is celebrating as one of its developments in Lancashire is exceeding all sales expectations, being one of the fastest selling sites in the region.
The Persimmon Homes sales team at Beacon Green, Skelmersdale, have been delighted by the success of the development, with more than half of the 76 homes already snapped up.
Diane England, sales director for Persimmon Homes Lancashire, said: “We knew that Beacon Green would be popular, but we’ve been bowled over by how quickly the houses have been reserved, since the site opened last year.
“The semi-rural location, on the edge of Skelmersdale, bordering Up Holland, makes it a lovely place to live, and the mixture of two, three and four bedroom homes have been a real hit – especially with first time buyers who are using the government’s FirstBuy scheme to get onto the housing ladder.
“The feedback we are getting from buyers is that the properties are just what the market needs in Skelmersdale, and that they get more for their money here, with prices starting from just £90,396*.”
Beacon Green is situated on Tanhouse Road, just eight miles from Wigan, 23 miles from Manchester city centre and within easy reach of the M58.
