Capital One competition looks for inspirational small business
Capital One Business Card has launched a nationwide competition to find the UK’s most inspirational small business, which has done the most to help its local community or improve its customers’ lives.
The winner will receive £10,000 and an exclusive session of business mentoring from Michelle Mone OBE, founder of Ultimo and co-owner of MJM International.
Michelle commented: “I am delighted to support this competition to find one of the UK’s brightest small companies.
“It is important not only to engage with the millions of small business owners and managers across the UK that work tirelessly for the benefit of their communities, but also to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, who will become the business leaders of the future.
“It is great to be involved in an initiative that will not only see a firm win a valuable financial reward, but to be able to offer them the benefit of my own insight and experience.”
Michael Woodburn, Chief Marketing Officer, Capital One added: “We are excited to be launching this fantastic competition to find the UK small business that is leading the way in supporting its customers and local community.
“Whether it is developing an innovative community recycling project or designing a fantastic new Smartphone app that automatically orders new stock for customers, we want to hear about it.
“We want to find local small business heroes that have gone the extra mile for their customers and communities.”
