Strategic alliance creates new health partnership venture
A strategic alliance between a North East wealth management firm and a private healthcare insurance business is set to change how businesses offer benefits to their employees.
Bishop Auckland-based Pearson Jones Plc are now combining its employee benefits team with The Private Health Partnership Ltd in Bradford, and will now trade under the name Bespoke Benefits Solutions.
The service will be available across the UK, and will allow businesses to access specialist employee benefits and corporate private health cover through one enterprise.
The new partnership will assemble a total of 250 specialist staff, who will be trained to provide a wide range of solutions according to the clients’ needs.
Director of Pearson Jones Plc employee benefits division, Paul Scott, says: “Bespoke Benefit Solutions is a new trading partnership offering a far wider range of specialist expertise than is generally available from a single supplier in this field.
“While there are some generalists in the market, combining this range of services at this level is rare , in the UK regions.
“It allows businesses to tailor their provision from a wide range of options through award-winning specialists at a time when quality and value for money are vital.”
Bespoke Benefit Solutions will now offer private and international medical insurance, health screening, occupational health, absence management schemes, dental and optical insurance coupled with company pensions, group life cover, life insurance and shareholder protection.
PHP managing director, Stuart Scullion, who will manage BBS alongside Paul Scott, says: “We are confident that through quality, diversity and value, BBS can soon become a national market leader as this combination and range of services meets a real market need.
“Both we, and Pearson Jones Plc, are excited by what we can jointly achieve for clients and the wider benefits this association will bring our businesses.”
