Expansion and investment for interiors firm
A Newcastle-based furniture company has expanded its team and invested in equipment following the launch of its city centre showroom.
PMH Interiors, which is run by husband and wife team Paul and Michelle Harrison, has taken on a new member of staff and invested in manufacturing and IT systems following an increase in demand for its made-to-measure interiors.
Paul Harrison, director at PMH Interiors, said: “We launched our Newcastle showroom in November and have seen a steady increase in the number of both new clients and in repeat orders from existing clients.
“As a result, we have recently added an experienced cabinet-maker to the PMH team and invested in new equipment for our Throckley workshop where all of our interiors are created, increasing efficiency and capacity within the company.”
The company has worked closely with North East marketing firm ramarketing and recently showcased its bespoke interiors at the prestigious Living North Live event.
Paul Harrison has more than 20 years’ experience in furniture making, having studied Design Craftsmanship and going on to set up PMH interiors in 2006.
The PMH Interiors showroom is located on Rutherford Street in Newcastle where it is based in the same building as audio, video and multimedia company Bang and Olufsen. The company has also formed strong links with other well known brands including AGA and Miele, enabling it to source high-end appliances for its customers.
