Top commercial eBay sellers to discuss online growth

Instant Working Capital, iwoca, have invited top commercial eBay sellers to provide an insight into how they have built their businesses.

As part of the ChannelAdvisor conference, taking place in London at the end of May, leading sellers will discuss how they are positioning themselves going forwards, in order to capitalise on future growth in the e-commerce sector.

According to study by Boston Consulting Group, the UK’s e-commerce retail sales are forecasted to grow in excess of £80bn, and may represent 23% of total retail sales over the next five years.

Around 180,000 business sellers are registered on the eBay market-place, and the research concludes these companies are well positioned to take advantage of the projected expansion.

Christoph Rieche, CEO & Founder of iwoca, will join a panel of experts in trying to address how online businesses can exploit the growth, and what role access to finance will play.

The key points to be discussed are; by how much the panelists forecast their businesses to grow, how they are positioning themselves for this, and how their fortune will change with better access to finance.

Among the other panelists are John Pemberton, founder and CEO of GMDC Global Limited, a seller of designer clothes; Alistair White, founder and CEO of Ultimate Styling Limited, a leading car parts internet retailer; and Maksim Burdilov, founder and CEO of Smart Parts, a seller of electronics in the UK.

Industry specialist, Anthony Trollope, founder and CEO of The Wholesale Forum, a UK wholesale community with over 100,000 members will represent the voice of the online seller community.
