The wet weather last month played a key part in a fall in retail sales, according to the British Retail Consortium.
As like for like sales fell by 3.3.% - is it really possible for the weather to have such a damaging effect on our spending habits? Or is the poor weather just an excuse for the fact that people simply can’t afford to spend?
