Are Government cuts the right ones?

Efforts to collect outstanding taxes have been stunted by job cuts, according to a group of MPs, who believe that an extra £1.1 billion could have been collected without HRMC job losses.

The Government plans to cut 10,000 jobs from the department over the coming years, but by doing this do they risk damaging the integrity of the HRMC. While cuts do need to be made, is the Government actually making the right ones?
